Unreal Base contacted German Midway PR Manager, Oliver Beck, and tossed out a few questions regarding the release of Unreal Tournament 2007 in Germany. There may have been amazing revelations in the interview but, alas, I don't speak German. However, my handy Ger-English translator spit out this undoubtedly bastardized version of one Q&A: Catzenjaeger: Most important question: Will UT2007 appear again in Germany in a cut version on the market and naturally the all most important - when UT2007 will appear with us? Oliver Beck: To the first partial question: That cannot be said at this time yet exactly. The USK is lately unfortunately somewhat incalculable and so can it be that we bring a ungeschnittene version out, in addition, it can be that we must make small shortening (e.g. no blood). It will not give drastic shortening however. We are strained. To the second partial question: Very good question: Momentarily still Q4 is focused 2006. That became thus means, to year end is located the title in the shelves. From official side there are also still no other announcements. The rumors in the Internet mean that Tournament will only appear unreal 2007 in Q1 2007, but in addition can I unfortunately nothing say - I do not know simply also more!
